Headshots After several Headshot sessions over the years (yes I was also an actor) I became frustrated with the experience of never being satisfied with my pictures. It was actually my mom's idea for me to take my first photography class and I loved it. I started taking pictures of all my actor friends and before I knew it the referrals were coming in. With that being said, my philosophy as a headshot photographer is very much in favor of the actor. I take my time, you will never feel rushed. I will help you get to where you need to be emotionally for the shot and give you the time to get there. I will show you the pictures as we go so if there is something you don't like we can fix it, with no attitude from me. Children Just as my acting experience helps me to relate to my clients during our headshot sessions, being a mommy has helped me become a well established children's photographer. I know that it is necessary to interact first without the camera behind my eye in order to establish a relationship and build trust. I also know how to be just silly enough to get the children to relax so I can capture real smiles and candid moments. Being a photographer, I have thousands of pictures of my daughter, each representing a change in her smile. It brings me so much joy to be able to share that gift with other parents.
